82Verse 1A Song of a Psalm for Asaph.Verse 2O God, who shall be compared to thee?Verse 3For behold, thine enemies have made a noise;Verse 4Against thy people they have craftily imagined a device,Verse 5They have said, Come, and let us utterly destroy them out of the nation;Verse 6For they have taken counsel together with one consent:Verse 7Even the tents of the Edomites, and the Ishmaelites;Verse 8Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek;Verse 9Yea, Asshur too is come with them:Verse 10Do thou to them as to Midian, and to Sisera;Verse 11They were utterly destroyed at En-dor:Verse 12Make their princes as Oreb and Zeeb,Verse 13Who said, Let us take to ourselves the altar of God as an inheritance.Verse 14O my God, make them as a wheel;Verse 15As fire which shall burn up a wood,Verse 16So shalt thou persecute them with thy tempest,Verse 17Fill their faces with dishonor;Verse 18Let them be ashamed and troubled for evermore;Verse 19And let them know that thy name is Lord;
